What we collect, and why

Tierly is two things: this public website, and a sales app that a dealership signs in to. They handle very different information, so this notice takes them one at a time.

The public website

There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and it sets no cookies. Your browser keeps one setting in its own local storage, your light or dark theme choice, and that never leaves your device.

Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages see your IP address and browser details when you visit. Our hosting provider keeps those request logs for a short time to run and protect the service.

The demo request form

When you book a demo we store the four things the form asks for: your name, your email, your dealership or company, and what you want to fix. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up about your demo. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

To stop the form being abused, we count requests from each IP address for one hour. That count is deleted automatically when the hour is up, and your IP address is not stored with your request.

The Tierly app

A dealership that uses Tierly records its own showroom traffic and sales in it, which can include customer names, phone numbers, email addresses and the vehicles they looked at. That information belongs to the dealership. We hold and process it only to run the app for them, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Signing in sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary, is not used for tracking, and expires after 30 days.

If you are a customer of a dealership that uses Tierly, please contact that dealership about your information first, since they decide what is recorded about you.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts the website, the app and its database, and runs the app's AI features. Nothing is sent to any other company. If that changes, this notice will change first.

How long it is kept

A demo request is kept while we are talking with you about a demo and is deleted on request. App data is kept for as long as the dealership uses Tierly, or until the dealership asks for it to be removed.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form and say it is about privacy. We will reply within 30 days. If you are in Canada and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
